Oregon State University is working with global technology leaders, including LG, Microsoft and Sony, to advance the "Internet of Things".
The AllSeen Alliance’s main software is an open-source framework called AllJoyn. OSU’s Center for Applied Systems and Software will run tests for AllJoyn and verify that it is functioning correctly before it is released.
“This project will provide student employees an opportunity to work with cutting edge software, which will be deployed to millions of devices,” university officials said.
